Inspiration

Bollied was created to combat the "boring sameness" of American attire. The clothing is inspired by traditional Indian attire but with an American flair and from tradition in itself. With Indian tradition comes the Holi Festival. Streets flow with bright oranges, greens, pinks and yellows and the sky runs like a rainbow. These colors inspire the dress that people choose to wear! Bollied takes these colors and uses fabrics to match and creates the beautiful saris and everything else Meena Sinha's collection has to offer.

Meena Sinha went to the last Holi Festival and came up with her new collection which doesn't stick mainly to tradition. She applied it to different styles of clothing like shorts, skirts and other types of dresses which are now featured on Bollied's website.
